Transfers & Background Checks​

Transfer fee is $50 for the first firearm and $40 for each additional in the same transaction

As of January 1, 2024, an $18 background check fee applies for each transaction, payable by the transferee
Any and all fees are due at the time of the initial paperwork / background check is initiated and are non-refundable.

For a Private Party Transfer, if a transferee does not pass a background check, the other party must undergo a background check and pay a transfer fee to regain possession of the firearm

Denials are subject to a 20% or $50, whichever is greater, processing fee.

10+ Round Magazines

WE CAN NO LONGER TRANSFER / SELL / SHIP MAGAZINES GREATER THAN 10 ROUNDS

If we receive a firearm for transfer that has a 10+ round magazine, the magazine will be removed from the firearm before transfer, it will not be shipped back to the sender, nor delivered to the buyer, and will be considered abandoned property.

If you purhcase from our website and the firearm comes with a magazine that is greater than 10 rounds, the same rules will apply. It will be the buyers responsibility to replace the magazine at the buyers expense.

Layaways, Deposits, & Special Orders

TMCOutfitters is excited to offer such a convenient payment method to fit all lifestyles and budgets for our customers. The following apply to all layaways:

Our layaway program is available with any purchase for up to 45-day terms
A minimum down payment of 20% of the purchase prices is required to establish a layaway
There are no minimum payments or any formal payment schedule, only the term days

Any firearm not paid for in full at the time of purchase, will be considered a layaway and all layaway policies will apply, regardless of layaway paperwork.

A layaway will be cancelled for any of the following:

​Customer does not pass a background check
Customer changes their mind
Layaway term days have lapsed
If the layaway is cancelled, a non-refundable processing fee equal to 20% of the purchase price or $50 whichever is greater, will be applied
Once a layaway has been cancelled for any reason, the purchaser has 3 days to request a full refund (minus the processing fee), else any payments applied to the layaway will be forfeited and become un-refundable.

Payment in FULL required for all special orders. All special-order sales are FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE. If unable to pass a background check, a refund can be processed less a 20% restocking fee AND a $50 processing fee.

Refund Policy

AMMUNITION: All Ammunition sales are FINAL!

FIREARMS: All firearms sales are FINAL!

VERY IMPORTANT
Please take your time to inspect all firearms thoroughly BEFORE proceeding with the transfer. As stated above, firearms sales are FINAL and once a new firearm is transferred to you it is considered used, even if unfired.  Consequently, we cannot provide a full refund for new firearms once they have been transferred into your possession and instead will be treated as a used gun purchase.  Also, we DO NOT reimburse FFL transfer fees on returned items. 

However, we do understand some manufacturer defects may not be identifiable upon initial inspection, so upon discovery of a defect AFTER the transfer, the firearm MUST be returned directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with manufacturer’s warranty policy).                               

Our policy for any other items not listed above is to exchange (if applicable) or return for in-store credit. Within 14 days of receipt, to be eligible for an in-store credit or exchange, the merchandise must be unused and in the same condition it was upon purchase, it must be in the original packaging, and you must have a receipt. Sale and clearance items not eligible for retund or exchange. 
TMCOutfitters will provide a replacement item (if availabe) or full refund in the form of instore credit.

If you purchase a firearm and change your mind or cancel that purchase for any reason, a 20% or $50 whichever is greater, processing fee will be applied and you will be refunded the difference. 

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.

The Credit Card Billing Information, Shipping Information, and Contact Information in our checkout process are required in order to process your order and deliver the product to you. We store some information for accounting reasons. Your information will not be shown to third parties not involved in the transaction, nor used to send you any unrequested information. The entire Checkout process is handled through a secure SSL-encrypted connection.

The Credit Card Billing Information is sent directly to our payment provider who processes your credit card transaction. The credit card information is neither recorded nor stored by us, and it can only be accessed by our payment provider. Each transaction has a very high level of security. They are not processed on our servers at any stage of the transaction, nor are they stored on our server.

Shipping & Delivery

At this time, TMCOutfitters LLC. ships merchandise to locations within the United States and U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands. Additionally, TMCOutfitters LLC. ships merchandise to Canada and Mexico, but not to other international locations. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.

International

Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.
